"About 1945 the rest of our family from up north decided to return to the prairie. First to return was Lawrence with his wife Florence and two small daughters. They rented the Dave Tisdale farm where they lived for a time. They bought a farm near Hoosier, where Lawrence and son Mervin are still farming. Three of their daughters are married with families of their own."
